Limb Eruption
An eruption off the northeast limb generated a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) now visible in both the latest STEREO Ahead and STEREO Behind COR2 imagery. Because this is a limb event, it should have little to no impact on our planet.http://www.up.iranjoman.com/images/i55xd6r325rg5x0gi0wl.jpg


Solar Update

Solar activity continues at very low levels. All four visible numbered regions remain stable and are not a threat for strong flares at this time. Sunspot 1835 in the southeast quadrant is showing a bit of flux development this morning.
