Limb Eruption
An eruption off the northeast limb generated a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) now visible in both the latest STEREO Ahead and STEREO Behind COR2 imagery. Because this is a limb event, it should have little to no impact on our planet.
Solar Update
Solar activity continues at very low levels. All four visible numbered regions remain stable and are not a threat for strong flares at this time. Sunspot 1835 in the southeast quadrant is showing a bit of flux development this morning.
